JPG to PDF

How to convert images to PDF

  1. Click Choose images and select one or more pictures. JPG, PNG and WebP work in every modern browser; GIF, BMP and AVIF work where your browser supports them.
  2. Arrange the pages with the arrows. The first image in the list becomes page 1.
  3. Choose the page size (A4, US Letter or the size of each image), the orientation and the margin.
  4. Press Create PDF and preview, check the first page and download your PDF.

Choosing the right page settings

A4 or US Letter is best when the PDF will be printed or attached to an official application. Each image is scaled to fit the page without stretching or cropping, and centred. With automatic orientation, landscape photos get landscape pages and portrait photos get portrait pages, so nothing ends up tiny.

Same as each image creates pages that exactly match the proportions of your pictures. Choose this for photo albums, comics or screenshots where white borders would be distracting.

A small margin (about 10 mm) leaves room for printers that cannot print to the edge of the paper. Use no margin for screen reading.

Quality and file size

JPG photos are placed into the PDF as they are, without being compressed again, so there is no loss of quality and the PDF is about as large as the photos together. PNG images are kept lossless. Other formats, and phone photos that need rotation, are converted to high-quality JPG first. If the final PDF is too large to email, reduce the photos with the Image compressor or the Image resizer before converting.

Typical uses

Scanning receipts with your phone and sending them as one document, submitting photos of an ID card or certificate to an online form that only accepts PDF, turning a whiteboard photo into a handout, or collecting screenshots for a bug report. All of this happens on your device — the images are never uploaded.
