1. Who is responsible
This website, orbittools.org (“Orbit Tools”, “we”, “us”), is responsible for the processing described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].
2. Files and text you use in the tools
All tools on Orbit Tools — including the document converter, PDF tools, image tools, text tools, calculators and generators — run locally in your web browser using JavaScript. When you choose a file or enter text, it is read and processed on your device and the result is created there. Your files, text, passwords and results are not transmitted to our server, not stored by us and not used for any other purpose. When you close or reload the page, they are removed from the page’s memory.
3. Data processed when you visit the website
When you open a page, your browser sends technical information that is necessary to deliver the website: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested page, the referring page, and your browser and operating system (user agent). Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which provides network, security and performance services and may process this information, including in the United States, on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We use this data only to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix technical problems (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the website against abuse.
4. Statistics
To understand how many people visit the site and which pages are popular, we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not store personal data on your device and does not track you across websites. It only provides aggregated statistics such as page views and countries.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), to show ads on this website.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Without consent, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads. Advertising scripts are separate from our tools: the tools do not send your files or text to us or to advertisers.
6. Cookies and local storage
Orbit Tools itself does not set cookies and does not save your files or text in your browser’s storage. Cookies may be set by Google for advertising (section 5) and by Cloudflare for security (section 3). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools continue to work.
7. Fonts and libraries
Fonts and all code libraries used by the tools are loaded from orbittools.org itself. We do not load fonts from Google Fonts or code from other content delivery networks.
8. Email
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We keep the correspondence as long as needed for that purpose and delete it afterwards unless we are legally required to keep it.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. 10. Children
Orbit Tools is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
